Is the Spit It Out 7" the 3rd version from the reworked version of the Alternative? If so I must get a copy of it for my DJ sets - I don't do CDs I'm afraid!

Is it available in the UK anywhere? Or can it only be purchased from the online shop in Europe?

The reworked version - the UK mix of the Alternative is on the 'I' 7" that they sold at the London King College gig and on the nintenn95 website. I'm not sure if it's still available in the nineteen95 shop as it was LTD. But it's not available anywhere else.

Alas I couldn't get to the show, so I missed out on that one. I just hope I can get a copy in time for my gig on Friday!

isn't the version on the uk edition of "the alternative" the same as the single mix on the cd-single that came out on major records in 2006?

No. It's another version again. There's the album version, the single version and the UK remixed album version.

Yeah I really like the latest version, I was a bit dubious about a third version at first but it takes all my favourite elements of the previous two versions and makes an amazing song!

So i think that would be four versions altogether then. There was a version of Spit It Out buzzing around the net before the Alternative album release in 1996. Someone sent it to me on sneakerpimps.be. It had a more 'rock' Placebo-esque feel to the one on the original album release. Also quite different to the 1996 single and 1997 UK album release. I prefer it to all the others actually. I've been trying to find it since the mp3 i had of it died along with my old computer. It makes me sad :(

Anyone still have this version?

Ah yes, the promo version. Much like the single version really. I did have it before I had to wipe my computer. Hopefully I saved it to disk...somewhere.
